How to Cancel a Reservation & Booking in eZee FrontDesk

Introduction

This guide explains how to cancel a reservation or booking in eZee FrontDesk. If a guest cancels or does not show up, the system allows quick cancellation, updating the inventory automatically across channels and the hotel website.

Methods to Cancel a Booking

Cancel a Booking from Front Office

  • Click on Navigation Button.
  • Select Front Office, then Booking List.
  • Click on Arrival Date and Search.
  • All bookings for the selected date will be listed.
  • Select the booking to be canceled.

  • Click Edit, then Group Operations, and select Group Cancel.

  • Choose:
    • Cancel to cancel bookings one by one.
    • Express Cancel to cancel all bookings under that group.

  • The cancellation window will pop up.

Mark a Booking as No-Show

  • Follow the same steps as for Cancellation, but select No-Show instead of Cancel.

Viewing Cancellation Reports

  • Switch to Report View.
  • Search for Reservation List under the Reservation Section.
  • Select Show Type as Cancelled or No-Show.
